Work To Finish!
Honourable Ebrima Sllah, the Minister for Transport, Works and Infrastructure has told the contractors of both the Bertil Harding Highway and the 50km OIC roads projects that the government is looking forward to the total completion of all these projects by the end of the year, without compromising quality.
The Minister said this during a tour of these projects on Saturday, 27th May 2023, with top officials of his ministry, the National Roads Authority, contractors and consultants.
The tour took the Minister and team to Bertil Harding Highway (Senegambia), area, where the first layer of asphalt work has started, the overpass at Coastal Road Junction and the Brufut roads.
Other roads under construction within the Kanifing Municipality such as the GTMI, Serekunda Hospital Road, Old Jeshwang Cemetery, New Jeshwang and Jokor roads were all visited as priming is expected to start soon to be followed by asphalt work.
